GATE 2027 Exam Date & Timing
The GATE 2027 examination is expected to be conducted in February 2027 in computer-based test (CBT) mode by the conducting IIT. The exam will be held for all branches on multiple days and in different shifts.
Major papers such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering will be scheduled as per the official timetable.
The GATE 2027 exam date branch wise schedule will be released along with the official notification. Candidates should check their admit card for the exact exam date, time, and session.
GATE 2027 Exam Timings
The GATE 2027 exam is expected to be conducted in two sessions on the scheduled exam days for all branches.
- Forenoon session: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (IST)
- Afternoon session: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (IST)
The session-wise timing will apply to all GATE 2027 papers as per the official schedule.
