GATE 2027 Fees: Registration Fee for General, Obc, Sc, St & Female Candidate
GATE Exam Fees: The GATE 2027 application fee is mandatory for all candidates who wish to appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering examination. The fee depends on the category of the candidate and the number of test papers selected.
GATE 2027 Application Fees for General Candidates
The GATE 2027 examination registration fee is ₹2000/- per candidate for General category applicants. However, after the application deadline, the late fee will apply, and the total fee will increase to ₹2500/- per candidate.
GATE 2027 Application Fees for Female Candidates
The GATE 2027 examination registration fee is ₹1000/- per candidate for female candidates. After the last date, the total fee will increase to ₹1500/- per candidate.
Female candidates, SC, ST, and PwD candidates have a reduced fee, while all other candidates including General, OBC, EWS, and foreign nationals pay the standard fee. The fee must be paid online through the official GOAPS portal.
Candidates opting for more than one paper must pay the fee separately for each paper. The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

The GATE 2027 application fee must be paid online only through the official GOAPS portal. Accepted payment methods include:

Candidates must complete the payment in a single session. After successful payment, the receipt or confirmation page should be saved for future reference.
